Our Worship Service
Our regular Sunday service
lasts from 9:45 a.m. to about 11:00 a.m.
The service includes praise
and worship in the following ways:
- Through song — Our worship team leads us in singing both the
classic hymns we grew up with and some upbeat new songs that we learn
together.
- Through testimony — Each week we set aside time
for a few members of our church family to share how God has been working
in their lives or to request prayer for specific needs.
- Through giving — It is a regular and happy habit of church
members to give back to God's work from the resources He has given us.
Naturally, guests are not expected to give to our weekly offering.
- Through listening — Our pastor brings a short
sermon that is relevant to our lives today and rooted in the unchanging
truth of the Bible.
After the service, we break for a time of fellowship and refreshments. Most adults
then attend one of our smaller Bible study groups, and children attend age-appropriate
Sunday School classes. A caring nursery is provided for both the worship
service and Sunday School, so bring the whole family!
